Youth Company

Unique in Canada, Corps Bara Youth Dance Theatre provides the opportunity for emerging young dancers to explore their Christian spirituality through dance. A creative environment of sound technical and artistic training is partnered with a spiritual focus to develop the whole dancer. Through professional mentoring, young dancers have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of seasoned dancers and choreographers to create an annual full length Gala production, Sunday School and Youth programs and works suitable for church and community celebrations.

Corps Bara Youth Dance Theatre dancers and parents are asked to make a serious time and energy commitment:

- 2-3 Ballet classes per week
- 1-2 Modern/Jazz classes per week
- Saturday rehearsals from September to May (excluding posted holidays)
- Parental involvement in fundraising activities (no bingos or casinos)
